The Design Behind the Collection

One of the most distinctive elements of this collection is its inspiration from Korea’s national treasure, the Sacred Bell of Great King Seongdeok.

Korean traditional bell patterns reinterpreted by BTS and MU DS collaboration

Originally completed in 771 during the Silla dynasty, this bell is the largest surviving bronze bell in Korea and the only one that still preserves both its original form and sound. Known for its intricate detailing and refined casting technique, it is considered a masterpiece of Korean art.
Through the collaboration with MU:DS, the decorative patterns engraved on the bell have been reinterpreted into a modern design language—bridging traditional heritage with contemporary fashion.

Why Everyone Is Buying Korean Museum Goods Right Now

The National Museum of Korea has quietly become one of Seoul’s most unexpected shopping destinations.

Unlike typical souvenirs, these items combine:
traditional Korean motifs
minimal, modern design
affordable pricing with collectible value

Recently, global visitors and K-pop fans have started to notice—turning the museum shop into a viral shopping spot.
With BTS now collaborating, demand has surged even further.

Pro Tip: When to Go

If you want a better chance at getting the most popular items:
Go early in the day
Use pre-reservation if possible
Avoid weekends if you can

Because once the best items are gone, they’re usually gone for good.

This isn’t just a museum gift shop.
It’s where K-culture, design, and fandom intersect—and where some of Korea’s most coveted items disappear faster than you’d expect.
