Many festivals take place in large open spaces like Hangang Park or Olympic Park. Rather than simply watching performances, the experience feels closer to a picnic. You move freely, take breaks, and return to the stage whenever you want—this flow defines Seoul’s festival culture.
Personally, I find myself going to music festivals every spring. After attending for about three years, I realized that the experience changes completely after your first visit. It becomes less about watching performances and more about enjoying the space and atmosphere.
